Default Moves

Does trading take a move, does dropping an item take a move, and does picking up an item take a move.

All three of these are answered on page 16 in the rulebook.

If you just GIVE him the answers, he'll never learn to check for himself first.

I'm sure the majority of people who have purchased Munchkin Quest have read over the rulebook several times, seeing as I've read every inch of it like 100 times over. There are times that rules, even the simple ones will slip your mind though, and I figured that was basically what this forum was for. The majority of posts on this forum are about rules. There hasn't been a new post in like over a week now anyways, I check it daily.

Plus you have to admit that the rule book is a bit scattered... it can be very difficult to pin point one specific thing and it can get a bit flustering. When that happens to me I've turned to this forum for help.

I checked two places to find the answer. First, I looked under Move (p. 6). No love there. Then I went to Items (p. 16), which told me what I needed to know.

Additionally, the rulebook is available as a PDF download from the Munchkin Quest page, so you can search it and not have to rely on remembering exactly where a rule was located.

The forum is for posting rule questions (among other things -- did I mention we'll have some copies of Portal Kombat at PAX this weekend?), but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to tell people to read the rules before coming here.

What is PAX? Also... do yall know when they'll start shipping Munchkin/Munchkin Quest back out to the geek stores? My local comic book store keeps telling me they won't be shipping more to them for a while! I want MQ2 and Portal Kombat to complete my MQ set!

We're shipping now and have been for months. Your store is giving you a line of bull (or they're getting bull from their distributor).
