The civilians laughed at the mad villain when he displayed his gun firing gun. But the superheroes were noticeably not laughing.

Snip
That propaganda angle was what I was referring too (though I may still be incorrect), I was working from the assasins/cult members being called hashishans, as in users of hashish. Which as I understood things was the derogatory term for the sect. My alternate build was
Assasin
Fanatacism
Duty
Quirk, trys to not harm innocents

Speaking of alternate builds
Scout [-1]
Quirk/temporary duty, return with information [-1]

Now I check, it turns out the ducking only happened once. (George Reeves was determinedly professional and took the hits; one stuntman reacted on reflex.) But it did happen, and do has become a bit of an urban legend. See https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V3DnAgyQoAk

Not sure where the quirk comes from; those guys were basically terrorist suicide bombers before bombs were invented. They focused on the assigned target because they generally only got the one chance, but they wouldn’t have worried too much about anyone else.

And yeah, as I understand it, “hashishim” seems to have been a general term of contempt at the time. (Think “junkie” or “dope fiend”.) There would have been an undertone of “those guys are crazy, they must be on drugs”, and Marco Polo compounded the problem with his stories about secret gardens in the indoctrination process, but all of that kind of misses the point about suicidal fanatic cultists.

Okay, one more really lazy entry from me:

Bard
See William Shakespeare, GURPS Who's Who 1.
That's only good for the valley of the river Avon.

By the way, historical Necromancers merely summoned the dead to learn about the past, present, and future from them.
