Wizards and Dead broke
We had a problem in our last game. A wizard was fighting two monsters and used his charm spell on one of them. After he did that another player played Dead broke on that monster. The wizard argued that since he had already charmed it, that monster was no longer part of the combat so dead broke couldn't be played on it. They should have played the card before he charmed.
Is he right? The text on the card says: "Play during combat. The monster has no treasure at all." Was it played too late? He still had one monster to kill so he was still in combat. |

Re: Wizards and Dead broke
Once the monster has been Charmed, it's removed from combat, so you can't play anything else on it. He could play Dead Broke on the remaining monster, though.
