Default OGRE miniatures terrain

I'd love to see what everyone is using for terrain and scenery for OGRE miniatures.

I did see that, I've made something similar for my table out of felt. Looking into 3d elements currently.

I purchased a variety of the Hexon II from Kallistra in the UK. Expensive, but perfect for Ogre Miniatures. 4" hexes so an Ogre fits in a single hex.

You tease me so! I've had them on my 'win the lottery' list for a while, figuring they'd be about perfect for minis, but so far the price [GBP80 pre-flocked, plus international shipping] has kept me scared off.

Out of curiosity, what all did you purchase to make that rig?

That Kallistra terrain looks fantastic. A pity it will never feature on my table.

That’s about 6 boxes of the hex boards, plus various hills and craters and lakes. Since I bought the original set, I have picked up more from eBay and various sources, so I probably have about twice that much now. I can pretty much cover an 8’ x 16’ table.

I was going to run a big game at Origins next year, but they closed GM registration early, so I never got to reserve a table. Maybe I’ll be able to do something in the open gaming area.
