Is it possible to have two half-breed cards in play?
Is it possible to have two half-breed cards in play by one player? For example, to be half-elf-half-dwarf, half-halfling-half-man? ;-) I think the answer is 'no', but would like to clarify)
The same question about Super Manchkin cards. |

No, you can't. This is in the FAQ for Card Game Munchkin, and was also answered in the forum here (this linked thread is actually four or five below this one, you should check before asking the same question) =)

Re: Is it possible to have two half-breed cards in play?
On the link is the different question about having half-breed with the same race. One half-breed card, two races cards which are the same. In my question there are two half-breed cards and three different races cards.

However, the FAQ for Munchkin describes this situation. So thank you for pointing out.

Re: Is it possible to have two half-breed cards in play?
Even though, in this case, the Munchkin FAQ applies, I would not always use that as your best source for Munchkin Quest answers. Yes, some things are exactly the same, but many are only similar and some are almost completely different.
Since the MQ FAQ doesn't have any information, let me explain, using some key phrases from the rules, why you can only have one Half-Breed card and a maximum of two Races: Half-Breed and Super Munchkin These are cards that let you have, respectively, two Races and two Classes. This does not say, "more than one Race and more than one Class." That right there is sufficient to say you can't have a third Race or Class and are limited to two. The Half-Breed and Super Munchkin cards don't go further to break any rules about how many Races or Classes you may have. However, I'll go one further: You can play Half-Breed any time you have one Race in play. This does not say "at least one Race in play," but exactly one Race. Again, indicating that you can only play one Half-Breed card and are limited to two Races with the use of Half-Breed. Similar rules exist with respect to Super Munchkin and Classes. |
