I wasn't designing a martial art from scratch; I was using the one from Technical Grappling. The idea here was to spend points on a martial art without any real thought to the character using it, so I could get more comfortable with how martial arts works in GURPS.

Skills: Wrestling Sport+3 [12]
Advantages: Flexibility [5]
Techniques: Change Position (Wrestling Sport)+1 [1], Force Posture Change (Wrestling Sport)+1 [1], Ground Fighting (Wrestling Sport)+1 [2], Low Fighting (Wrestling Sport)+1 [2]
Perks: Ground Guard [1], Style Familiarity (Collegiate Wrestling) [1]
Heh. On further review of Martial Arts, I came across T'ai Chi (which I have fond reminiscence of from college). Ditch Flexibility and Style Familiarity (Collegiate Wrestling) above, which nets 6 pts.

Put a pt each into Judo Art, Autohypnosis; Breath Control, Knife Art, Meditation, & Savoir-Faire (Dojo). Add Delusion (I'm a MMA contender!).

I'm tired; this strikes me as weigh more hilarious that it probably actually is.

Autohypnosis and Breath Control are highly desirable Skills that aren't taught just anywhere. A lot of people interested in serious combat who understood these things would be studying this pacifistic art.

Truth. Though 1 pt each in Hard skills isn't going to get one very far.
