Card play during combat - Marvel set
So I have the rules in front of me and it clearly states:
"You and the other players may play one-shot items or affiliation abilities [to help in combat]" I took this to mean optional regular items such as "discard a card for +3" is not permitted during combat as it is not a one-shot is this correct? |

Re: Card play during combat - Marvel set
"Discard a card for +3" would be pretty useless if it couldn't be used during combat. This is a case of a specific card's text superseding the general rules.

Cool, I was thinking it might only be used before kicking a door etc but that makes sense, I'm too ingrained in YuGiOhs strict phases.
