Gloom
So I am somewhat interested in purchasing Gloom - does anyone play? Have any comments? Suggestions?!
I'm also curious if it works well with two players - it does list 2-4, but some games, though they say 2-4, really don't work well with only two. Any feedback would be appreciated! |

The Table Top crew played it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0artLwe87I4
I have mostly played Cthulhu Gloom, but I think two is playable - less fun than three or four, but as you still have multiple targets in an opponent's family there are still choices to be made.

Re: Gloom
I love Atlas Games and this is one of their best. Gloom does play semi well with 2 but best with 3 plus. I have all their sets and enjoy having a 5 to 7 person mega game.

Re: Gloom
2 players works just fine.
imo, the Unwelcome Guests is the best expansion. It can add an old maid aspect to it with one of the guests. Mixable with Cthulhu Gloom. Desperately wanting to play more than 5 player game. Like, maybe using every family in all the expansions, including Cthulhu, which would bring it to 12 players in a couple months after the next expansion, but doubt anyone else would want to do that.
