Munchkinomicon question

If someone steals the Munchkinomicon by sacking 3 cards on his turn then says end turn, is there a response phase for me to steal it back before start of my turn? He stole it then proclaimed end of turn (he had no charity), saying I didn't get to draw a spell because his turn had ended.

There is no time between the end of one player's turn and the start of the next turn.

To clarify, are you saying until I kick open the door, my turn doesn't begin?

I am definitely not saying that. As is mentioned in the "Turn Order" section of the rules, you may do things on your turn before kicking open the door. Your turn starts immediately as soon as the player on your right says her turn is over.
