Check your email and spam folders. I pushed out electronic files, including a prelim HoJ file that still needs some finalization, yesterday and today.

If you see an honest-to-goodness error: lack of clarity, typo, rules errors, etc. Something that shouldn't see print, email me at gamingballisticllc@gmail.com.

Please do NOT leave a comment here. Don't leave it via backerkit or Kickstarter or on my Discord. Email me. That way I can highlight it unread until I address it, and note it when it's done. If you use other method than email I will almost certainly either not see it or not react to it.

"I would do this differently" is cool, but not an error. Rules that are not taken directly from the DFRPG boxed set or DFRPG companion are house rules in this context, and if you're going to suggest a rules change, please cite the book from which you're quoting.

Finally: requests for additional content are almost certainly going to be denied at this point. Politely, but the book is super-full. If there IS obvious room on the page (monsters section has lots of white space, for example) something might be considered, but my predisposition at this point will be "no." At some point, you have to complete the project, and that point is now.

I just got the pre-final PDF of the HOJ. It looks amazing. This is what a GURPS supplement should look like. I cant wait to get the final version and the hard copy in my hands. Thanks Doug for all the hard work you've put into this. Hopefully this will be the first of many excellent adventure books you put out for the DFRPG.

Thanks for your kind words. I definitely put my love for GURPS/DFRPG into the product, asking at every stage what the ideal content would be as a player. The book doubled in size as a result, from 64 to 128 pages.

And I certainly have no intent to stop here.

Yes! The preview looks awesome! Great work there Doug. As said by voodoo54, can't wait to see more stuff for DFRPG (or GURPS!) from you!

Best,
Jonas

With Doug's rules direwolves are no longer less than useless against well armoured men.

And there was much rejoicing.

I'd love to see the writeup of that fight!

What Voodoo54 said! I'm looking through it right now. I really like the presentation of the sample PCs / templates - informative and flavorful. I'm also reading through it thinking about "devolving" it to TFT ... ;)

You know what I'd love to see? Cardboard minis for HoJ creatures and characters that mix and match with those in the DF box. Not sure how it would happen, but just putting that out there...

In fact I ran it today.

The dogs, not wolves managed to get a very good grapple on the Knight's leg and the henchman's hand.

In both cases they managed a take down to bring them both to the ground.

The dogs were eventually pin cushioned by arrows, but their grapple was particularly effective.
