Pathfinder special ability
Pathfinder's "Lay bare the secret" ability lets you look at the top 2 cards in the deck and discard one and put the other one back on top of the draw deck. I'm assuming you have to then immediately kick open the door without playing new cards/switching your gear around.
If everything happens in sequence, wouldn't it be the same as just drawing two cards when you kick open the door and discarding the one you don't want? Since both end up face up anyways, what would be the point in looking at them secretly? Or is there some edge case when that would be necessary. Hope that makes any sense to y'all. |
