"Yes, I can hear you, and yes, Dr. West told me about the numeric limit."


Dr. West pipes in: "We can see you too, as long as you keep the camera pointed at yourself properly."


Kuse: "The numeric limit could be an artifact, but I suspect its a symptom of something else. I'm passing this information on. The virtual teams will be glad to see it."

[Plane]

"Are virtual teams people who do work while in this hologram state you are in now?"

[ericthered]

Dr. Kuse: "Yes. They are. Most of this ship works virtually. Its how most work in space gets done. How is it you retain enough memory to function, but you're unaware of anything about ANI? You are used to some technology, at least. The way you use the System Access Unit makes me sure of that."

[Plane]

"I'm not sure, maybe my ignorance of ANI leaves space in my mind to remember other things?"

[ericthered]

Kuse: "The brain doesn't work that way. They more you know, the more you can remember. That's a mystery for another day. Thank you very much for your contribution."


West: "So we'll make some more charts, we'll treat people whose symptoms are distressing. Should we continue scanning anyone who shows symptoms?"

[Plane]

"I'm thinking I've had some, so I'd like to keep getting scanned if they keep happening."

[ericthered]

Kuse: "We can't detect when you get effected. You don't have an ANI. I really want to know why you don't. Its worth running a few more scans on you though. You're a useful edge case."

[Plane]

"I'll tell my device to contact you the next time I start feeling weird. I wasn't paying much attention to it earlier, figured it was just a side-effect of the amnesia. Could that be related somehow to this? Could whatever this thing is that's altering people's thinking have erased some of mine?"

[ericthered]

West: "We don't know what all the effects are. They seem to be extremely diverse, so I'm going to say yes, its possible"

[Plane]

"In the meanwhile while you study this, should I keep trying to keep people in line, or is there somewhere else I'd be more suited?"
