Two pills. One lets you speak Spanish. The other lets you speak English. But both give you the ability to hurt creatures otherwise immune to non-magical attacks because they "make you magical".

The bite of the giant mink feels as painful as it ought to, but temporarily bestows an insane regeneration speed, such that wounds have already healed by the time the teeth have withdrawn. Letting yourself get chewed up for a while is a great way to relieve aches and clear up infections.

A bus station that is weirdly white and shiny and clean to the point of being antiseptic. Passengers are searched to see if they have unapproved electronic devices.

An urban battlefield with giant robots and fairly conventional infantry. The city is mostly devastated. The enemy have spies who look like slightly odd long necked cats but can make themselves look like other small animals and confuse your memory of what they first looked like.

Your dearest loved one is working inside a building made of unbreakable glass and transparent aluminum, a completely see-through structure with no discernible windows or other manner of egress. Your loved one is oblivious to the approach of a clearly murderous stranger, and no amount of your pounding on the glass serves to gain your loved one's attention, nor does it distract the murderer from his intent. You search and search, but you can find no way into the building.

The countryside is littered with caves that contain piles of treasure. Frustratingly, usually only the outermost layer of coins is collecible; the rest is just intricately painted stalagmites.

One cave with several deep champers has larger piles of treasure than usual and a man wearing the finest finery sitting on an extravagant throne. He is a king, but only of this chamber of this cave and he has no subjects to rule over. He is very friendly and generous with anyone who does not try to steal any of his piles of coins, giving such gifts as fine-quality longswords and ornate golden crowns of the style that Burger King's paper crowns are an abstraction of.

There are probably monsters in the area, but it's easily feasible to clear several caves of their treasure without getting into a single fight.

A toilet that will fall apart when used, unless held together with--and I quote from the dream--"enough telekinesis to move Alaska."

A documentary on TV.

"Many modern people forget that when Kellogg's Corn Flakes were first mass-produced and sold, they were not sugar-frosted but instead coated in salt."

Factory footage shows Corn Pops being manufactured, not Corn Flakes or Frosted Flakes.
