Buying Up from Defaults?

In the skills section of the Basic Set there are rules about buying skills up from Defaults to other skills. Does GCA calculate this automatically?

It does, but the first skill selected is used as the "default from skill". If in a later stadium you want to reverse it (e.g., you have put alot of CP in the lower skill so it surpasses the skill it defaults from, you have to delete the default from skill and add it again. Then it will default from the new skill.
