A place for playtesters?
Hi, I've been away for some time but hope this is part of a 'comeback' for me in here! I've been hard at work to write some books, and on the side I am updating my old GURPS-like rpg set in the same world. Sadly I have exhaustted my base of external playtesters/testreaders since everyone now already know it too closely. Does anyone know where to look for 'fresh' playtesters/testreaders? Is there a forum in here that fits?

Re: A place for playtesters?
Post your questions in the GURPS forum. I'm sure you'll find a lot of vounteers. I might volunteer, if it sounds interesting.

Re: A place for playtesters?
If it's modifications to GURPS rules, use the GURPS subforum.
If it's an entirely new RPG that shares similarities with GURPS, but is different enough so that assumptions carried over from GURPS might be false friends, post the request for playtesters in this subforum, as it is suitable for discussion of all other RPG systems, published and unpublished.

Re: A place for playtesters?
Thank you for the quick answers! At this point, it's far enough removed from GURPS to be its own thing, but they should be sort of compatible. So I guess, this forum :)
Expect some stuff soon! |

You're also welcome to use Play by Post if you want a more play-ish playtest.

No, those games are happening right in the forum.

Re: A place for playtesters?
I gotta take some time to understand how you pay the games there, but tempting, ver tempting. However, right now the problem is that I can't find testers that aren't already too familiar with EoT, and I am, to put it mildly, familiar with it already :) I need fresh blood, for now. Later, yeah, I'll definitely try the postplay!
