In Nomine on any of the Virtual Table Top (VTT) sites?
Does anyone know if people have done In Nomine on any of the Virtual Table Top sites? I mean places like MapTools, Roll20, and Fantasy Grounds, etc. It can also be done on Discord.
Thinking of working on it, but don't want to go reinventing the wheel. I am talking here about real time sessions over the Internet. Play by Post is a thing of course, but I've found it never works out for me.

Since precise tactical mapping isn't usually an issue for IN, I've done pretty well with just real-time Trillian chat and a commonly agreed-upon dice roller. That said, I'd be interested in seeing what others have to say - there are times when it would be nice to have the additional tools.

I will second that the fact that the game doesn't require a tactical map you can get away without using a full VTT like roll20 if you don't want to.
If you are using the Sidekick Bot in Discord, it has patterns and rolling methods that would work for In Nomine. I tested it on the server that I have set up for my play group and using this command: In Nomine: /r repeat (d6, 3, brief) I get the output: repeat (d6, 3, brief) = 4, 1, 2 So if Discord is an option then you could use that bot to fit that need. There are multiple patterns that you can use with the bot to fit different needs. |
