If the current campaign succeeds, then we will continue to invest energy in crowdfunding campaigns for other plastic Ogre miniatures.

What about joining in the backerkit phase, is that possible?

We're not yet 100% certain on BackerKit. There are some technical things to work through.

If the campaign funds -- and if we do use BackerKit following the close of the Indiegogo campaign -- then there will be a preorder option through BackerKit.

IGG is not sufficiently different from KS for me to be worried by the move.

My only issue is how much should I pitch in at. I got both the minis sets, plus I have a bunch of metals (included both deluxe boxes). Is one set from this enough? Two, three? I just can't decide. And that's where IGG gets more complicated. Because they take the money straight away, changing my mind later is more complicated.

I'll wait for the end of the month, but I'll be there.

Because I do not want to sign up for yet another service, give them my info, and then have to keep track of them, their privacy settings, whether they have been hacked, etc.

This will be the first non-Munchkin SJG crowdfunded project that I haven't backed since DFRPG, back in 2016.

Should it fail - will you be able to differentiate why?

I'm not sure they'd be able to since there are multiple changes from the previous campaigns.

There are likely too many variables, such as the switch of platforms, what’s being offered, and how it’s being offered to make any concrete comparisons. To ignore the fact that there are clearly numbers of people displeased with it being on Indiegogo is foolish, though. And frankly, Phil, despite being asked several times, the answer of ‘Because, reasons.’ is not going to make anyone concerned about it more reassured. You don’t owe us anything more, and I understand that - but I’m not sure you understand that you have upset at least some of the games already limited number of supporters with this move. Even if they trust SJG, they do not want to give any money to indiegogo.

That said, I expect the campaign to succeed - and probably be the least supported Ogre crowdfunding effort to date, too. Where they go from there, I suppose we’ll find out. Most likely, it’ll be without me, too. This might be the point where the fork in the road comes up between Ogre and I.

Now 44% funded. Great work, gang! Thank you.

Please note that if this campaign is successful, the minis will cost more in the future. If you're interested in adding these to your army, now is the time to take advantage of the crowdfunding prices.

Small progress. No final word yet, but positive movement.
