Lightless Lair of the LLoigor
We are currently playing Cthulhu and in the Lightless Lair of the LLoigor and a player died on his turn. Does he roll at the end to see if he gets another turn next? It was the end of his turn.

Also another question. Is the end of your turn and rolling the die after charity or before and if you don't get another turn then you must give charity?

Quote:
The rules do not state that Death stops you from rolling dice, they only specifically stop you from leveling up and receiving cards. In that regard, your turn could still be the next one after you roll, bringing you back to life. The die roll is also not derived from an action of your own, but the Dungeon, so I suspect you should comply with it asking you, as a player, to roll, even though your character is currently dead. Having said that, the intent of the rules might be that you do nothing while dead. That would need an official ruling to determine. It's after Charity. Charity is defined in the rules as something to do before you end your turn and performing charity or admitting you don't need to is what actually ends your turn. |

Yes. Since you come back to life at the end of your turn, and this roll essentially happens between your turn and the next, I see absolutely no reason to consider otherwise.

If you haven't gone through the Charity phase, you haven't ended your turn, so I don't see how you would roll before Charity, since, as I said above, this roll happens after your turn ends and the next player's would begin.

Yea we figured as much just someone argued that it said that you roll at the end of your turn and not after your turn and if you gave charity first the roll would happen after your turn. But we slapped him and went with what the rest of us were saying.
