This is awesome news. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked about the original art it would pay for my Kickstarter pledge. If there's anything better than nostalgic art, it's *new* nostalgic art, and the only thing better than that is when it's more than good enough to get excited about without the nostalgia factor.

I got to play TFT at my Memorial Day con in a purpose-built 3D cut-away dungeon. I am very eager to see the stretch goals...

These look great! I like that they are fresh, but will mesh well with the big jar of old counters I have from my original games.

Excellent.
I hope the tradition of mirror-imaged counters is continued. It may not mean much to you, but as a lefty I was thrilled to find a left-handed counter to represent my fighter.

Thank you for pointing that out. I don't know how many of the figures will come out left-handed on their own, but I can and should make sure that some are lefties in the final version We probably won't mirror ALL the counters - I always thought that looked a bit improvised because, well, it was. Snakes and things, sure.
