[Basic] Stats for a water cannon?
Salutations!
I'm building a power that allows the character to shoot a stream of... liquid from his fists, with force about equal to a water cannon (the kind law enforcement sometimes use for crowd control / dispersion). I'm thinking Innate Attack (cr) (Variable, +5%; No Wounding, -50%; Double Knockback, +20%; Jet, +0%; Increased Range, +10%; Increased 1/2D, +5%; Linked, +10%; Super, -10%). The question is, how many levels does he need to have about the same power as a water cannon? |

Re: [Basic] Stats for a water cannon?
Every 1d+1 of damage knocks a ST10 man back 1 yard. 5d+5 (roughly 6d+1) is enough to stop an average man in his tracks when he's running forward at Move 5.
Assuming you want something that forces an athletic man to a dead stop, you need to do about 60 points of knockback. 9d is probably sufficient.
