Well in that case I'd like to join the game, my experience involves GURPS, D&D3.5 and some online freeform stuff, I've also read through both this and the IC thread, so I'm up to speed with whats going on.

I've got a couple of character concepts, one for a soldier type character, and another for an offensive mage, which do you guys think would be more useful?

We can always use more warriors....Rorik is getting tired of shouldering all the slaughter... :)

Skullcrusher is probably right, we could use another fighter.

The spell system for GURPS doesn't really do direct damage magic well IMO. (Although you could always just have a innate attack if the GM allows it.) But yeah, more damage is always good.

Lamech - that's just the path magic system that you're using. The fatigue or threshold based magic systems have way more spells that can totally be used offensively.

4th edition has improved the magic system (at least the basic magic system) where you can get fireballs above 3 dice damage.

The other four players all edited their characters to include a full 100 points in skills or more, so I think its fair to say that 91 isn't close enough. Sorry

An interesting skill set and an unusual choice of primary weapon -- should be a fun character.

As for the skill points... if you pumped IQ for the skill levels, you can gain back some points by shaving off Per and/or Will a bit more, or you could just take a point off IQ or HT, depending on what was more important to you.

Just about managed to push it over, I'm pretty sure everything else is above board.
