Celjabba, you hire me, you work out the contractual details =P. As long as he gets paid everything is ok.

In my character's case, I was going with "lots of education". Since IQ doesn't just represent raw mental capacity, but also your general knowledge and such, it's reasonable to have a high IQ if you have a lot of education and experience.

If you prefer, to better model this, I can lower both Per and Will back down to 13.

Well, there are Tennin models with +1 IQ like the Wu-Tsao from Changing Times and Tennin-2 from Deep Beyond; it'd be easy enough to say that your parents got you genetic intelligence augmentation when they had you (assuming you're not a member of one of those two groups). You might have even been a Tennin-3 with an unusually high HT to begin with to compensate for the racial -1 HT; the only change you'd have to make would be picking up Reproductive Control [1] as part of your template and making your age 15 or less, as it was introduced in 2085- not too difficult considering how Duncanites do childrearing, unless you're imagining someone older as part of your character concept.

I see her as young, but not terribly young -- 30ish. She's been around, and has had time to have a change of direction in career a couple of times. She's also learned a lot and has experienced a lot.

Are you not going to buy the "IQ as general knowledge in addition to raw brain capacity" explanation? That is, are you going to *require* that it be some sort of upgrade or genetic template to have an IQ over 13?

Fair enough.

Knowledge is covered by skills. IQ is how much brainpower you have, how creative you are, how good your memory is, how focused and perceptive you are, et cetera.

I could see the habit of nootropic drug use in children amongst the Duncanites justifying another point of IQ and possibly a disad like Flashbacks, though.

http://vault.celjabba.org/dump/McInn...u%20final2.pdf
http://vault.celjabba.org/dump/gto%20final%20.txt

Here are the final versions.
I modified GTO backstory to make it fit with XiuXiu

Note:
XiuXiu reaction roll:
+3 from charisma
+1 from appearance
+1 from fashion sense (if time to plan)(wich is fast with adaptative clothing...)
+1 from sanitized metabolism (in close confine)
-2 if not medicated for disorder and it is visible
+2 if she can talk (from diplomacy-20 or fast-talk-20)
+2 from politics-20 if speaking to politician
+2 from merchant-20 during commercial transaction
the +2 from diplomacy and fast talk may stack, gm decision. Rules are not clear. I assume they do not.

Still have to do :
-The various lai,
especially Bunter, Xiu-Xiu LAI (in a VII implant)

-XiuXiu gear.
mostly, some clothes and vaccsuit,
lots of software and database subscriptions.
And probably a big box of various cyberswarm-in-a-can.

for bunter, he will probably have this skillset, or close, unless you wish otherwise.
Running on a VII with improved radio (more range, secure)

Computer operation 13
Electronics operation(communications) -13
Observation - 13
-
Diagnosis(Owner)-12
Physician(owner)-10
-
Research-12
expert skills-memetics-11
law(memetics)-11
-
merchant - 10
law(financial)-11
Accounting-13
administration-13
-
Possibly driving(automobile) if i have the points
Various language or other skills in the chipsets

Celjabba

I uploaded the wrong xiuxiu. is is fixed now.

Edit: if you don't have pu2:
-disarming smile allow substituting diplomacy for a reaction roll, without speaking.
-efficient allow to ignore a penalty of up to -2 when taking less time than normal. (this only apply to real memetics work, not to all skill in the wildcard !)
-standart operating procedure: i always have my ai run reality check (toxic memes p135). I don't have to mention it, if it could have been done, it was done.

Flyndaran: Okay. Umm... you seem to have paid for the Special Exercises, but haven't gone and actually bought the Striker, though. I'm also unsure about the origins of your various advantages; what augmentations were you born with, what was a result of your training in your Style, and what did you add in later as part of your readiness to colonize a high-G world?

Celjabba: That seems fair enough. Pick whichever; they both have advantages and disadvantages; the wildcard skill gives you a higher skill in the less important skills, and the seperate skills give you a higher reaction bonus and are easier to increase.

....
His delusion about the presence of habitable high g worlds is one of the main reasons why he works out so much to make him as strong as a freaking black bear.
Didn't buy the striker? Guess that's the problem with relying to much on GCA to dot all the Is and cross all the Ts.
I was thinking of him being a well trained normie rather than an augmented human. His parents were gambolers and just got lucky with a strong willed smart exercise fanatic.
Other than those issues, was everything else ok? Is he too good for a normie?

His bicycling comes from space habitat exercising.
