Help Me Name/Price This Talent?
I've got a Talent for a Low-Tech (TL4 and below) setting which essentially duplicates Artificer - with the exception of not possessing Electrician and Electronics Repair, two skills that don't exist at that TL.
The Talent consists of: Armoury, Carpentry, Engineer, Machinist, Masonry, Mechanic, and Smith. This is 7 skills, which is just enough to push it into the 10/level category (using alternative pricing, it'd be 7/level, which is a fairer price). I'm still tempted to reduce it to 5/level anyway partly in order to distinguish it from Artificer and partly because 7 is closer to 5 than to 10. However, I'm at a loss as to what to call it. "Low-Tech Artificer" kinda seems off... Also. any other similar skills which could fit (particularly if it has to be 10/level)? Thoughts?

Dungeon Artificer; Dungeon Fantasy 4: Sages (page to be determined when I am not getting ready for guests) and Power-Ups 3: Talents p. 10.

Dungeon Artificer has completely different skills (Alchemy, Armoury (all), Engineer (Gadgets), Fast-Draw (Gadget), Scrounging, and Traps); the only overlaps are Armoury and Engineer, and there the Engineer is one specialty only. Not the same kind of Talent I was thinking off, sadly. Now, I don't doubt that some of those other skills could mix in (in particular Traps, though I'm hesitant to add Alchemy (and Herb Lore) due to the setting's magical constraints). (Also, as the setting is not a Dungeon Fantasy setting, I won't be using the word "Dungeon" in any Talent name.)

Re: Help Me Name/Price This Talent?
I put together Gifted Artist and low-tech Artificer into one Talent called Artisan. That seems worth it at 10 points/level.

Re: Help Me Name/Price This Talent?
Mechanic (Plumbing), Mechanic (Water Wheel), Mechanic (Windmill), Mechanic (any complex machine), Mechanic (Clockwork) (such as Swiss cuckoo clocks), Mechanic (Wagons)... yeah, any time there's a complex machine to be built, maintained, and repaired, you'll see Mechanic.
Machinist... note that Machinist can be used at TL0 for flint-knapping, and for shaping tools (with a mechanical grindstone/lathe, which can be cooked up without electricity) at pretty much any TL. The two can be used at any TL; they're not just what we think of at higher TLs. (I think Low-Tech even gives ideas for these skills.)

Re: Help Me Name/Price This Talent?
There probably isn't any reason to not just call it Artificer, since those skills and the broader talent just don't exist in that setting.

A Complete Tool is just too funny not to be used for something. Maybe an Anti-Talent? However of yours and Kelly's list I like Village Artificer the best.
