Psychic-Material Harmonizing Talent
I think that some unique people can overcome their innate biases and be comfortable in the Psychic/ Spiritual World and the Material World. They can basically become dual-class members.
I feel it is harder for a Hero to grok the psychic concepts than it is for the Wizard to "get" the Material World. The Wizard is constantly dealing with physical things. IQ 13 Talent Psychic-Material harmonizing (3) {6 points total} A Wizard who has trained himself to now be more comfortable with the Material World. He is better at learning “Hero” talents, which now cost 1.25x more instead of double. (Whether the Wizard learns this later or gets this Talent on Character Creation, it still costs him 6 points). Iron still affects them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IQ 14 Talent Material- Psychic harmonizing (3) {9 points total} A Hero who has trained his mind to now be more comfortable with the psychic/spiritual World. He is better now at learning spells, which cost Double instead of Triple. Thus from now on he only has to work twice as hard to memorize a spell. A non-wizard still may never use any spell he does not know. He may learn the Staff spell and put mana into it. Iron still affects them when casting spells. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are there an RAW penalties for wizards other than Iron? I know if he uses an iron weapon he is at -4DX and if he doesn't know how to use it, he is at an additional -4DX.
