Be Bold Games Unboxes TFT & Potential Typos Spotted
Please forgive me if I am so excited about The Legacy Edition of TFT that I am getting something wrong in this posting, but I wanted to let everyone who frequents these forums know about Be Bold Games unboxing The Legacy Edition. It was mentioned on the SJG Facebook page, but for those who missed that, here is a link:
The Fantasy Trip: MASSIVE Unboxing of Legacy Edition!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFzTwOab30o Also, I spotted what may be some typos in the Character Cards as Be Bold Games held them up for the camera. Please note I am judging by the original rules and what I've read on the forums here, so if my information is incorrect, I do sincerely apologize. Here goes: 1) The Meg character card shows ST=10 but should not be able to use a Small Ax because that requires ST=11. Or it was intended to be a Small Hammer instead, but then the damage should be listed as 1d+1. 2) It looks like Sirocco's DX=15 should be DX=15 (14) because Cloth Armor ought to subtract one from Dexterity. Once again, I am sorry if my information is wrong because the weapon and armor tables were significantly revamped before publication.

Oof. The boxed set is going to be amazing, but please tell me they didn't write up a bunch of characters that violate simple rules most of us have known by heart for decades...

Steve's on his way to a convention and Phil just got back from a trade show. Also, we're a bit busy with a major Kickstarter right now and have been shorthanded all week due to illness. We appreciate your patience.

If the final rules for the reprint of The Fantasy Trip changed some of the old, original rules, then maybe there are no typos. Sorry for bringing this up again, but it may be worth double checking on possible typos. Thank you very much!

Those are, indeed, errors that made it into production.

Re: Be Bold Games Unboxes TFT & Potential Typos Spotted
Thank you for confirming my efforts to pause the Be Bold Games video and carefully examine the cards did indeed pay off in finding some typos. Not that I'm happy to find mistakes, but glad that my knowledge of the original rules has not been totally negated by rules changes in the current printing of the game.
