Any Taft-1 "Magic" Books?
Did anyone create Books for Taft-1? I'm going to run a similar system and some info would be very useful!
I'll start creating the "De Vermis Mysteriis" (which seems to contain a bunch of stuff...). |

<blows dust of Chaosium's 6th edition>
Freely admit I didn't choose to work hard on this one, but here's what I use: Book of Eibon/Libre d'Ivon/Liber Ivonis. Protection and Warning (all spells), Knowledge (Divination only). Probably the book "good" wizards learn from. Cthaat Aquadingen Animal, Comm & Emp, Necromancy. Only three techniques: Banish, Speak with Aquatic, and Telepathy. Harmless to a low-IQ dabbler, deadly to a talented and dedicated mage... De Vermis Mysteriis Necromancy, all spells. Good guy headache #1. Necronomicon Necromancy and Mind Control. Many different editions with different spells in them. Unausprechlichen Kulten"Nameless Cults", many editions and translations. Necromancy, Mind Control, Comm & Emp, Protection and Warning, and possibly even Knowledge. Any given edition should have only a few valid techniques/spells. Extractions and manuscripts are often portions of the above books. The necromancy spells to Summon Planar Being are particularly widespread. |
