Wind and vacuum based attacks
Hi,
I've read about the body of air template, and it says that it takes x2 damage against "Vacuum and wind-based attacks". As vacuum attack I found the spell "destroy air", but I couldn't find a definition of what spells would qualify here as wind based attacks. Could somebody indicate what spells would qualify here? Tks, Roberto |

Re: Wind and vacuum based attacks
I haven't looked through all the spells, but the intent seems to be that while you have a Body of Air you are more vulnerable to being shoved around by wind. So I would include any spell that specifically includes air-based knockback, such as Windstorm, Sandstorm, Wall of Wind, Air Jet, and Shape Air. I'm sure there are others that I haven't thought of.

Also wind-based damage, for example if somebody had an Innate Attack defined as wind that crushes or cuts its target, would be doubled. Would that be especially realistic? GM's call, but magic and supers aren't especially realistic either.

If a player starts abusing Body of Air, just quietly switch the game soundtrack to "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and put on your best evil smile...
