Luck less frequent & number of rerolls
Hi guys
In my games, Luck is a common Advantage to take. Both my players an me like it the way it is. We usually play for 4 hours, so this boils down to 4 uses of Luck. Still, for some games I would love to have a weaker version of Luck. How does this look to you? Luck (Once every two hours) [8] Luck (Once every four hours) [4] As you can see, I priced it based on the [15] version of Luck and just halved the cost. Now, what would you say Luck with just one reroll instead of the two you usually get would cost? And what would Luck cost if it didn't have the time constraint and would allow a single reroll per Level of the Advantage (Kind of like a "Benny")? Cheers Onkl |

Those look too cheap to me, I don't think you can price the opportunity of a reroll linearly down that far. I price Luck (Once per session) at 10 pts, and our games are typically about 4 hrs too.
For one reroll instead of 2, I would ballpark that at -30% to -35%, so standard 1/hr Luck would also be 10 pts.

I play with 1 reroll(instead of 2) at 5 points. Also you can use your luck as if it was destiny of Monster Hunters.

I give them a single roll per scenario. If they need 3 sessions to finsih a scenario because they are slow in making decisions, etc., so be it. Points cost as listed.

Wait, so you're charging the regular costs, but for a watered-down version that's usable something like a dozen times less often?
