Duel rules
Hello.
Assuming technical Grappling is not available, (I imagine the answer are in it) -how would you model a duel ---when the 2 combatants are handcuffed/tied together at the mainhand wrist ? ---same, but there is a length of rope (1m or so) tied to each of their mainhand wrists ? -how would you model a duel when the 2 fighter start barehanded, with one weapon on the floor between them ? First to grab the weapon : Raw speed or DX/brawling rolls in opposition ? As an aside : those two situations are common in fiction, but I draw a blank to specific references. Any idea ? |

Re: Duel rules
For handcuffed together, I would say that they had both effectively grappled the other's arm, so that arm is pretty much useless for both of them, both are Grappled, and neither can move out of Close Combat.
If tied together with a 1m length of rope, as above but Close Combat can be entered and left.
