Default TFT on #SJGamesLive!

Today around 4PM CST SJ and I will be starting a series on The Fantasy Trip. This episode we're focused on making Melee characters, and will attempt to make 2 full characters in a short video. Should be a fun tutorial!

Like our Facebook page, and you should get an alert when we go live!

Did anybody see this? How were we? Was this a good use of our time?

I liked it.
You nicely showed just how easy it is to make up a character for Melee, and kept it interesting.

Yes, it was very good. I don't know much about Hunter as a person, but from everything I have seen him in (video-wise) he seems like a really nice guy with a very pleasant way about him; and instantly likeable. Hunter asks good questions and expresses himself nicely; and this makes him a nice "on-screen" foil to your very knowledgeable self.

I think any gamer learning about TFT for the first time will be able to identify vicariously with Hunter's happy and open personality. The two of you make for a *very* good pairing - especially with Hunter playing the part of the initiate TFT'er - so I would stay with you two as a consistent and set pairing - as you work through the examples into the future.

Also, I liked the good-natured ribbing you two shared with each other from time-to-time - really seemed like two good friends sharing a special thing together - as opposed to just another generic demo from a game company representative.

Keep up the good work, and keep the videos coming.

JK

Yes. I liked it, though admittedly you're preaching to the choir with us. Looking forward to the combat. I'm betting Hunter gets a few good rolls and takes out the higher DX fighter.

You were great. The video was clear. Sound was good but maybe just a tad bit too low (or could have been my speakers). I could see the weapon and armor page fine on my screen. If anything, I think we were all disappointed that you didn't "have at it" once you were finished making your characters, but now we can look forward to the next video.

And I wish Hunter luck, he is going to need it.

Hi Hunter, everyone.
I boycot facebook because of their horrible privacy policies. Please let me know if these videos go up on Youtube.

Warm regards, Rick.

I cannot disagree with you about the privacy policies (and, worse than the policies, their practice). But obviously I don't boycott, or we would not be on there.

Yes, if that clip goes up elsewhere, we need to tell the world.

I liked it but not perfect. Here are my suggestions for improvements:

1. A top down camera view of Hunter's sheet as well would have been good
2. The weapons list needed to be zoomed in a bit better

The tone was just right though as others have mentioned.
