Quick Question on running away
I'm not sure on what it means to "-1 to run away" or "-2 to run away"
It may be in the rulebook but I can't find it. Any help will be appreciated. |

Re: Quick Question on running away
Rule: When you Run Away, you roll the die. 5+ means you escape, less than that means you suffer Bad Stuff.
So, if something modifies the roll, just add or subtract the value for the roll. Thus, a monster with -1 to Run Away means you roll, subtract 1 from the result and compare with the rule, above.

Re: Quick Question on running away
Does this mean something with "-2 to run away" means I will not able to run away at all? Because even if i rolled 6 i will still subtract 2 to get a result of 4 and it is still lesser than 5+.

Re: Quick Question on running away
Usually, yes, that's it. Unless you have something that gives you a bonus to Run Away, such as being an Elf, or Running Away Boots.
