That does sound like it to me. If not that, what does this mean?

Yeah, I see now what you mean; High-Tech, p. 156 indead states that. Well, you couldn't combine these effects until fairly recently. BAC is a very recent development, from 2007 IIRC.

Cheers

now that you see what I was talking about. So how would you run it?
And what does +1 gun mean? I know what the plus to acc is.

It gives a direct bonus to guns skill for your shot (in the case of a collimating/reflex sight, under specific circumstances). Unlike an acc bonus, you don't need to aim to benefit.

I already wrote that in my first post.

Note that the ACOG sights issued by the US Army and Marines do not include the BAC, as far as I know.

Cheers

Can't speak for the Army (but if it's high-tech they probably have it somewhere), but the USMC's RCO is just a x4 mag red-dot sight. Reflex sights are available on a per unit basis, but they aren't telescopic (and they take batteries, so they generally aren't used).

They do use BAC. The ACOG is specifically designed to use the BAC. The point is for it to be fast. If you need to take an accurate shot you aim with it the same way you do a scope. The Eotech is the same way except that when you want magnification you have to add a magnifier to it.

Who is "they"? The RCO that I use is not a collimating sight.
