People from travelling professsions will want something to communicate with Folks Back Home while they are on the job. Perhaps there is a routine system of homebound traders taking the mail for outbound traders back(the whaling fleet used to do that at Honolulu).

Just weird like familes bathing together to many of us westerners. If you constrain videos to say festivals that are mostly the same from planet to planet you'll probably feel that they're just like you.
