Thanks!!! It is a minor and very dorky personal GURPS achievement that I can say I have now created a creature who took parts of his own body as a Patron.

(I extrapolated that idea from a GURPS Space suggestion about how to do hive minds.)

I really like your adaptation so far.
Got me thinking of creating a gamesmen profession/class based on powers provided by some Power, perhaps a set of competing deities or ancient rival wizards (perhaps like Urtho and theother guy from the Valdemarr series).

New content -- it was spaceship week on "Requires Concentrate," with an additional week of spaceship-related things to come, as I attempt to bumble through the basic space combat system from GURPS Spaceships.

However the big news is that I've decided to commit to posting daily for a while.

The thing I'm proudest of: I spent hours and hours going through all of the books I could get my hands on and compiling a list of character templates relevant to a GURPS Traveller campaign. It's great that GURPS character design can do anything, but I find it is very useful to give players who are new to tabletop RPGs a list of possible ideas and work from there.

I came up with SEVENTY relevant templates, where 45 of them are likely to be more relevant and familiar ("astronaut", "spy") and the remaining templates are somewhat zany but I bet will spark your creativity ("deep-cover primitive-world observer"). Lists like the GURPS Repository and GURPS Wiki were helpful but just limiting the available choices to just "templates relevant to a GURPS Traveller campaign" is a big help to me. Hopefully it will help someone else!

The relevant posts I'm talking about (although there are other posts):
I'd certainly welcome notes on any published templates that I missed. This was a PITA but it has already borne fruit -- a new player chose "deposed planetary ruler."
