Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
H) Pulp.
B) Ancient Times (Egypt, Sumer, Homeric Greece, ect). I) WWII. Out of curiosity, would anyone bother voting up a pulp setting (from scratch, not an alternate history of Earth)? (I'm still unsure how serious I am about the idea.) Last edited by vicky_molokh; 12-03-2012 at 06:12 AM. |

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
Given that we have three votes:
B)Ancient History H)Pulp I think of J and K more as Atomic Era, put prefer K |

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
Put me down for Sixties, Recent Past, and Cold War, (K, L, J) in that order.

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
B) Ancient Times. People wouldn't really be freaked out if some of the stories told in the epics were true.
C) Classical Times. I had fun running a game where a super helped out the Persians in Duzakh. Sandals and Powers go together very well, in my opinion. Also the Greeks might get interested in working out how people get super powers. E) Early Modern. I basically mean Renaissance supers with cool clockpunk gadgets and tons of style. Sliding into the Reformation Era would be fine, but the heroes would probably get a lot more dour and dogmatic. @ vicky_molokh: I'm not quite sure how that would work out. Writing modern settings with a history totally different from ours is a lot of work. I'd be more than willing to try, though. Especially since my players basically voted up a totally boring non-alternate history for our pulp game. |

Re: Vote up a SUPERS! setting.
Changed to HBI, though B and I are far, far behind H for me. Then again, I may actually start what I jokingly planned to. Who knows.
