[Space] Appropriate Skills for a Starship AI?
Hey, working on a Sapient AI that's running on a Starship for a Space Campaign, when I realized I'm not sure what would be a good list of skills for it. I essentially want it to run the ship's systems when on Autopilot, as well as serve as a database of knowledge for the Players.

So you want the AI to replace the work of an entire crew? you may end up needing an entire crew worth of skills.
Though I suppose it could just be a monitor who informs engineers and others better informed when there is trouble. a database manager is mostly the research skill, unless it knows all of the knowledge skills itself. So you might be able to get by with just spacer and research. Navigation may be appropriate, but not necessarily.

Spacer and Navigation would let it fly the ship, give it all ship skills at 12 if you want it to handle anything the crew isnt. That would still let the crew run key roles if they want as they likely have better then 12 in thier skills.

To keep it real simple, consider taking Spaceship! the skill. This would cover all the essentials needed to move around and navigate, and generally operate itself. This would probably be simpler than the big list of skills you would otherwise have to take.
