Internal Fragmentation damage?
How do I determine how many pieces of shrapnel hit someone when the explosion is internal?

What I would do is assume that someone with internal fragmentation damage simply took 3 times the normal frag damage - this keeps it in line with the rules for explosions. |

That...still makes the Webley .442 SAPLE bullet in High Tech ridiculously lethal. And the shrapnel is effective against Unliving targets!

Re: Internal Fragmentation damage?
Aren't SAPLE rounds fired from aircraft?

Fuses of the era were fussy enough without them being a.) miniaturized and b.) having to detonate in that variable-density mass that is a living target. So if it does go off, ooh-nasty. But I would make it fail to go off most of the time. |
