I've toyed with the idea every once and a while (along with a "gaming talk show"), but I've not had the time lately.

I highly recommend the podcast One Shot, in which every session (between one to five episodes) is a one shot adventure run in a different gaming system. No GURPS yet, as they tend to choose rules-light systems to go better with their improv. The enjoyability varies between episodes - fast and loose systems tend to lean towards funnier stuff. I highly recommend the Princesses and Palaces episodes and the Feng Shui episodes.

I've planned, once I actually get a dedicated game room set up, to wire the place for sound. Record the play sessions, initially for my own use as a GM, sort of like how sports teams record their games so they can go over it to see what exactly happened. That of course lead me to thinking of uploading it as an actual play thing. But that hasn't happened yet, and probably won't for a while.

Like what? I guess it's no different than watching Golf... ;)
I watch them quite regularly, some are better than others, but the good ones are real good.

I also learn quite a lot of the rules from them too.

Golf too can be interesting on times.

It is always good to watch other Gamemasters, see their techniqes. Their story setup, and so on. The ones that are way to D&Dish is kind of boring though, but i guess you can learn from them too.

It is also a way for WotC to show of the game, there seems to be quite a few young gamers that never heard of what you could do with a roleplaying game.
