Default RPM Example Creation and manipulation of a Spacial Gate.

I'm confused here, possibly because I couldn't find examples.

Here is how I think the spell works:

Here I'm creating a gate to go from London to New York (3,500 miles), and locking it so only I can use it
Create Locked Spacial Gate (Greater Create Crossroads (6) + lesser Control CrossRoads(5))

Greater Create Crossroads (6)
Lesser Control Crossroads (5)
3,5000 miles /sec (40)
total cost: (6+5+40)*3=153

Is this correct?
Do I need a time modifier or did I create a permanent gate?
If I (or anyone else) try to move the gate do they need to pay the 3,500 miles/sec cost?
Does anyone trying to move the gate have to pay the full energy cost to overcome my spell?
Does anyone trying to remove my lock on the gate have to pay the full energy cost?
Can I create a less powerful gate that takes 10 seconds to move that distance?
Is the gate the spell itself or the permanent result of the spell?
Can I pull this stunt:

Create Pitiful Gate (Greater Create Crossroads (6)+ 10 yards/sec (4) = (6+4)*3= 30)
Greatly Expand and Lock Gate (Lesser Control Crossroads (5) +Lesser Control Crossroads (5) + 3,500 miles/sec (40) = 40+5+5 =50)

I am fairly sure you need Range and Speed

He's got speed, and I'm fairly sure gates use Speed and not Range. Range would be how far away the entry portal is when you create it.

As for your stunt, make one of those a Greater Strengthen instead of a Lesser Control, and A. I'd allow it but B. it would no longer be worthwhile.

For the rest of it, I think a duration under a minute is free, so I think that's how long it stays open. Otherwise, looks right to me. Might need a weight factor for what can go through. No idea about the counter-magic issues.
