Marvel Munchkin: Cosmic Cube Usage Question
I know, I know. It's me, again. Please understand that my household is playing this game every night, multiple times since this became a Christmas gift to the 13yr. old here, so the questions keep coming up. It's like, the ONLY thing we do now and technically, we still kinda suck at it and would be destroyed by more seasoned players I'm certain.
So anyway, the scenario: 1. Fellow Munchkin kicks in door, we're all about lvl 2 or 3. 2. Monster too big for him to fight alone so I join him. 3. Another Munchkin throws in a Wandering Monster just cuz and he's too much for the both of us. 4. Fellow Munchkin fails to run away and dies. 5. I hold a Cosmic Cube and play with the intention to pull out the Illusion card to fix the horror and was met with much yelling of no due to the fact that the Illusion card would come AFTER the combat and during the attempts to run away. 6. I concede to their yellings, don't use the card, also fail to run away and die. Would that action have been legal? |

Re: Marvel Munchkin: Cosmic Cube Usage Question
In general, if it's not your combat, you're limited on what you can do. Add to that the following: Playing cards that would change a Monster during combat can't be played while Running Away. Obviously, individual cards may vary, but Illusion isn't one that would be playable while Running Away.
