You're right, and I looked at it before posting too, heh.

BTW, it's rounding down instead of up.

I put in 80 yards and it pops out 41 velocity, instead of 42, and lists 4d damage instead of 5d-3.

When calculating velocity we are supposed to round to the nearest whole number. (B431 subtext under the velocity table.)

Also what would make it 5d-3? Please let me know all the parameters you entered and I can double check them.

Also you would never end up with a -3 after the initial 1d has been surpassed. Anything over 1d that is fractional is rounded to the nearest whole die. Or am I reading this incorrectly? Now I'm seeing that it can potentially be interpreted differently.

It does say round to the nearest whole number, but if you look at the Velocity table on p.431 you'll see that 80-82 yards is listed at 42, not 41.

Hmm, I've always used it that 4.1-4.25 gives you 4d + 1d-3 = 5d-3

I've always added the partial die, but now looking it over I can see how it could be read differently too...

That's true and I did notice that. I just assumed it was a error with how they separated their chart as opposed to their calculation. If you do the calculation by hand for that it ends up at 41.3 and we are to round to the nearest whole which is 41 even, so it is not a bug with the program but rather with the text "round to the nearest whole number" which should probably be "round up." Can anyone verify this?

It seems pretty clear to me from the text that X, where 4<X<4.5, is rounded to 4.

That is true. It would seem like it's more a problem with how the chart was split up.

The equation is more accurate so we will have to assume it is correct.

Please see the latest screenshot for the new combat automation screen below. Although this functionality has yet to be released, I am happy to bring you a sneak peak. The next release will be jam packed with all the improvements and ideas you had, and you have my sincerest thanks.

The ideas that have been coming in are great and much appreciated. I am overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm I have received for this project and am pleased to contribute to this awesome community!
