Are all the cards that were in the old (pocket box) sets included in the new deluxe game? Or at least available in the expansions?

No. Cards in the Pocket Box version that were dropped in the Deluxe version include:

Elders of Zion
Fifth International
Fred Birch Society
Hairdressers and Interior Decorators
Joggers
Mad Scientists
Preppies
SMERSH
and the Wargamers

Minor note, some of them had name changes:

Hairdressers and Interior Decorators-Gay Activists (with stat tweeks, Y2K)
Mad Scientists-Evil Geniuses For a Better Tomorrow
Preppies - Yuppies
SMERSH - KGB
Wargamers - Gamers (with stat tweeks)

Reformed Church of Satan - Revived in BFD

I'm not sure if the stat changes invalidates the groups return. This is from a quick look at my 'altered' spread sheets that I did from Faustus's spread sheets. I never checked my work on those sheets...

I can't believe that the joggers are gone though...

I can see why the Joggers are gone. They have become so intermixed into society, they no longer reprezent a distinct group. Now, Rappers, on the other hand, They are still distinct. Just a thought, of course, from one Gamer to another ...
