We are not currently looking for MIBs in China.

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
I think with the impending release of Ogre 6e it makes good sense to release the iconic Classic Ogre counter mix as the first miniatures set.
While I would love to see all the Ogre variants, lasers, missile crawlers, etc in plastic, it may be more realistic to hope for reissues in metal for the more exotic (lower selling) units, with only the big volume selling units providing sufficient ROI to be worth offering in plastic. SJG already have sculpts and presumably molds for the metal versions. Either way, if you want to see SJG offer more Ogre miniatures in any format pledge to this campaign and get your friends to pledge. Market demand as expressed in actual sales figures will drive much more production than gamers saying "I would buy a plastic Coelacanth" without buying anything else. |

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
I don't think SJ Games is interested in restarting metal production at all. They did so for a time after the Kickstarter, and sales were not enough to justify the overhead. A big part of the problem is the price for the components of pewter (especially tin) has continued to rise. Based on that, I suspect that any future miniatures releases will be in plastic and heavily dependent on sales.
So, if you want more miniatures, you should buy the forthcoming plastics rather than holding out hope for metal. |

Laser Towers should also be easy enough to scavenge from other sources. |

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
Has this hit the DI yet? I don't think I've seen it there, and I wouldn't be surprised if that helped bring in some people who don't normally check the Ogre forum and/or backed the ODE KS...

Re: Kickstarter - Ogre Miniatures Set 1
I certainly don't mean to suggest that I expect SJG to crank up production of metal minis again.
