Default Fit and Very Fit

Does the Fit advantage work for HT rolls to prevent stunning and knockdown? It isn't directly a roll to stay conscious, but if you fail badly enough you con get knocked out. I'm unsure on this and one of my players is pushing for it to be a thing.

It says all HT rolls (but not skill rolls).

OK. I read the stuff in parenthases as a definitive list what it gave bonuses to, as opposed to just some examples. I'm overly tired today. LOL.

I tend to discourage players from purchasing Very Fit, as they can get better results from +1 HT and Fit in my opinion.

I think in some very realistic settings the faster recovery is an edge.

Fit gives you faster recovery (Very Fit halves the rate of losing FP due to physical activity). I think that if you already have HT 12, the additional utility of +1 HT and Fit is more attractive than Very Fit (especially since you get +1 FP, +0.25 Basic Speed, and +1 to HT-based skills).

I can see a point for heavily encumbered/armored murderhobos with plenty of successive fights without too much rest in between. Or those who already reached the campaign's HT limit.

The big problem with Very Fit is that it doesn't do anything about effects that cost 1 fatigue.

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. Very Fit is very good for someone who needs to run a marathon, spend a lot of time without sleeping, swim through arctic waters etc., as it effectively doubles your FP pool and gives another +1 to HT rolls.

I have Very Fit (and HT14) on a character, and I almost stopped worrying about such things because of that.

Very Fit is a good match for a Determinator character. Someone who technically has the needs and wants of mortal flesh, but ignores them a lot.

Batman has Very Fit.
