I'd argue, buuuut those two are based on essentially the same basis a steampunk set could be based on. |

Re: Steampunk Munchkin???
Off the top of my head I can think of 2 monsters right away, both from that horrible (my opinion, not stated as a fact) cowboy/steampunkish Will Smith movie from a few years ago.
First the general in the steampowered wheel chair and second the giant steampowered spider thing. I'm sure if I watched the movie again, I could come up with at least a few more good ideas for monsters. |

Re: Steampunk Munchkin???
It still falls in the steampunk genre and is ripe for parody.

Re: Steampunk Munchkin???
It counts, so does League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Van Helsing, even The Brothers Grim.
For that matter, the latest Sherlock Holmes are totally Steampunk, and you gotta count any Jules Verne based movies, and pretty much any Frankenstein movie. Frankenstein is pretty iconic as far as Steampunk monsters go... *grin* |

Re: Steampunk Munchkin???
I think that Steampunk would do well as both boosters and a core set.
