Jade Karma Cube
Are you allowed to use this effect multiple times in a single turn? I only ask because I was in a combat for the win. A thief had stolen the card from me in the prior players turn. The thief then used the jade cube three times in a row until he got a card that he could use to stop me from winning. Is that legal?

Re: Jade Karma Cube
There's nothing on the card that would suggest it is limited, except by your Level, of course. The Jumbo d6 cards are generally more powerful than other cards.

As long as you're level 6 or below they are useful. Most of them cut off at level 6, which is definitely annoying.

Re: Jade Karma Cube
Only 2 of the 6 cards become less useful once you surpass Level 6, so it's not most of them...

Re: Jade Karma Cube
However, using this card mutliple times, looking for a card to make somebody lose the combat, sounds to me like exactly the sort of "fishing expedition" that Andrew has ruled before exceeds the "reasonable time" limitation for taking action to stop somebody from winning.
Obviously he can speak for himself on that matter, but this sounds pretty much exactly analogous to the situation where people are passing the Munchkinomicon around multiple times looking for a spell to make somebody lose combat, and he DID say that sort of behavior exceeds "reasonable time". |

Re: Jade Karma Cube
Andrew need not appear to say that this is the kind of fishing expedition that we both feel violates Wheaton's Law and what would be considered reasonable time.
