Autoduel will it still come to Steam?

I saw a post that stated that Autoduel would likely be coming to Steam in 2020. We passed that milestone sometime ago, is it likely that it will never come?

I was desperately wanting to play it again and trying to get a controller to work with Dosbox was a tedious enterprise that seemed to be going nowhere.

Please! I want a both a pc and an android playable version of the original so bad. Not to mention how badly I have wanted a modern remake. Interstate 76 was as close as things got for me and that was 25+ years ago.
