Default Barons of Fate, 15thC

Kronos' Barons have a broad knowledge of a given century, equivalent to having read the newspapers - which is a bit of a problem for centuries before the invention of the newspaper.

However, currently reading a biography on Columbus' son, who created the equivalent for the 15thC by collecting the broadsheets that were pasted on the walls of major cities of the time, and binding them into books - and these collections are referred to as being the equivalent of newspapers.

So you can add flavour to a Baron specializing in this century by having him refer to an event by referring to these broadsheets - which can be anything from Luther's theses to advertisements to doggerel insulting the local bigwigs.

Nice. And those sort of broadsheets go back a long way, even before printing was common. Rome had the Acta Diurna, a daily gazette that was carved on stone or metal and posted in public places to announce births, deaths, court news, etc. (That said, that particular example is well before the Prince of Fate is active, but you get the idea, I'm sure.)
