Combat Q
My buddy was fighting the Level 15 Hydrant monster. The card says it will get +5 unless someone helps you. He had already played the Baron Munchkinhausen card to help him. That card says the Baron drops in to help you. Will he count as someone helping you so the Hydrant monster does not get the addition +5, or does that Hydrant card me you need another physical player to help you?

Re: Combat Q
In all cases, "help" in combat means specifically that another player has agreed to join your combat. Cards, no matter how beneficial to you or how they are worded, do not constitute "help" in this sense.

Re: Combat Q
but wouldn't it be perfectly in line with munchkin for the player to try to get away with it if another player doesn't catch him 'accidentally' misinterpreting the rules?

Re: Combat Q
No. The "cheat" card is in line with the rules, but the "Munchkin Powers That Be" don't condone actually cheating by playing against or misrepresenting the rules.
