Default Triplanetary: use a transparent tablecloth to keep your board pristine

Just FYI: it's possible to keep one's Triplanetary board pristine by placing a transparent tablecloth (yes, those are a real thing) over the board and drawing on that instead of the board. They're just sheets of thick, flexible plastic (typically 0.5-1mm) and are usable with both dry-erase and wet-erase markers. (If you're feeling bold, you can use permanent markers (which are less likely to smudge the counters), then erase them (most of the time) with rubbing alcohol.)
